Although the literature on modern slavery has expanded considerably in areas such as supply chains, human trafficking, and corporate social responsibility, the manifestations of domination and exploitation within organizations have received relatively limited scholarly attention. This study aimed to identify the manifestations of organizational slavery through a systematic literature review. In the execution stage, scholarly sources published between 2010 and 2025 were collected from reputable databases, screened, and assessed for quality using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme tool, resulting in 29 studies selected for thematic analysis. The findings indicate that modern workplace slavery can be identified across eight primary dimensions: power structures and hierarchy, work pressure and exploitation, restrictions on freedom and autonomy, inequality and discrimination, concealment and lack of transparency, psychological dependence and exploitation, supervisory and control mechanisms, and ethical and psychological consequences. The results indicate that the manifestations of organizational slavery are often reproduced within the hidden layers of organizational relationships. Identifying these manifestations provides valuable insights for managers and organizations, enabling them to develop more effective management and organizational practices aimed at mitigating these manifestations.
