Purpose: The main purpose of the current research is to investigate the relationship between the hubris of managers and the job performance of employees with the moderating role of professional ethics of employees. Method: The statistical population of this research was made up of the employees of govenment. The sample size was calculated based on Cochran's formula of 384 people and the questionnaire was distributed among this number in a simple random manner. The method of this research is descriptive-survey in terms of design, cross-sectional in terms of time and practical in terms of purpose. In this research, in order to measure research variables, Owen and Davidson managers' hubris questionnaires (2009), Khayat Moghadam and Tabatabai Nasab's professional ethics (2015) and Koopmans et al. 's employee job performance questionnaire (2014) were used. In order to check the normality of the distribution of the research data, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used, and due to the non-normality of the distribution of the statistical data, the structural equation method was used in the PLS software to check the research hypotheses. Findings: The findings of the research showed that: the professional ethics of employees reduces the negative relationship between hubris of managers and job performance of employees with its moderating role. Also, the test of sub-hypotheses of the research showed that: there is a negative and significant relationship between antisocial personality disorder of managers and job performance of employees.
