Change is one of the requirements that organizations are facing today. The employees change attitude and their readiness for implementation of changes has considerable importance to organizations. In this study, referring to Islamic texts such as the Quran and Nahjolbalaghe and religious books, we have identified factors influencing employees attitudes to change, using grounded theory, a qualitative research method. Around 280 codes regarding change attitude were extracted from these texts. After reduction and categorization of data, eventually seven concepts were identified as variables of the Islamic teachings -based model of change attitude. After extracting the model of employee attitude to change from these resources, through quantitative research methods and structural equation modeling, we have examined the relationships between variables of the model with the employees readiness for organizational change. For this purpose, a questionnaire was distributed among a random sample of 130 employees of some branches of Social Security Organization in Tehran. Data analysis performed using PLS software, because of the low volume of samples, indicated that all variables in the model have a significant positive correlation with the employees readiness for organizational change. Among these variables, hope and desire to grow and consummate had the strongest and planning and seeking of knowledge, had the weakest relationship with change readiness.
